The Tamil Nadu Aerospace & Defence Industrial Policy 2019 aims to attract an estimated investment of about 5 Billion USD in 5 years period and 10 Billion USD in 10 years period in Aerospace and Defence sector.

Generate direct and indirect employment opportunities of one lakh persons
TN houses many defence products manufacturing central PSUs and ordnance factories
Unit subsidy of 10% with a ceiling of 10 cr provided that the first 10 investees make investments of atleast 50cr or provide employment to 50 persons
Costs of “on-job” training will be reimbursed upto Rs. 10,000 per month for upto 50 trainees for a unit
50% of the cost of certification from Indian and international bodies upto Rs. 25 lakhs.
Capital subsidy of 10% on eligible fixed assets in 10 equal installments over 5 years (less than 10cr)
Capital subsidy of 10% on eligible fixed assets in 5 equal installments over 5 years (10cr to 300cr)
100% reimbursement of Electricity tax
50%-100% reimbursement on stamp duty
